This is a seventeen-module generic safety course covering areas such as: WHMIS, transportation of hazardous goods, emergency response, environmental factors, personal protective equipment, and the law at work. MANY SITES WILL ONLY ACCEPT WORKERS WHO HAVE VALID CSTS CARDS.

Students work at their own rate using computers. No computer experience is necessary and your instructor will assist you with its operation.

In Edmonton, CSTS training is available Monday through Friday twice daily at 9:00 am and again at 1:00 pm. We are limited to accepting ten students at a time because we have only ten computers. Please phone (780) 483-8955 so that we can reserve a computer for you. In Calgary, members interested in taking CSTS on a weekend should leave their name with the Calgary office. You can reach the Calgary office at (403) 250-3840. When we have enough people, arrangements will be made to hold the course and you will be contacted.
