AT CRANE TRAINING

Local 955 Training will be offering Introductory Crane AT Training. The course will consist of classroom time and hands on training. This training will be unpaid time. You must be a journeyman crane operator to be eligible and must be a member of Local 955.  Please call the Training Fund (780) 483 - 8955, to get on the list as the course will be starting soon.

Please note: jobs posted will not be available to anyone who is not a Member in Good Standing of Local 955 until it has been on the call out for two business days unless otherwise posted in the specific call out.

If you are interested in one of the positions posted you must call the Dispatch office that the job was posted in between the hours of 8:30 and 10:00 am Monday thru Friday to bid on the job. Call the Edmonton Dispatch (780-483-0972) office for any calls that are Local to Edmonton or have camp or LOA provided.  Call the Fort McMurray office (780-799-8199) for Local Fort McMurray calls.  The Member who has bid on a job with the lowest number on the out of work list will be awarded the job.  If you require further detail please see the link below for complete procedures.

In order to keep your position on the out of work board you must still continue to check in, once per month, using the designated check in line at (780) 483 - 1955.
