The Operating Engineers Local 955 TRAINING TRUST FUND offers services to members and signatory employers. Funding is through employer-paid contributions for each hour a member works at rates set out in the various agreements. Some agreements do not provide for Training Trust Fund contributions.

The fund offers members a variety of safety-oriented courses as well as skills upgrading classes. "Hands On Training" for heavy equipment operators is held at our training site located north of Bon Accord. When preauthorized, reimbursement for courses taken through outside agencies and financial assistance for apprentices is available.

The fund also responds to employers by developing specific courses to meet their individual training needs.
